Product Description

Exciting and extremely affordable - a true bargain, struck in the purest silver in the world! Experience the call of the wild with that icon of American wildlife, the feisty Bobcat, with a mintage limit and high face value - what's not to love?!

Sold out at the Mint!We have managed to acquire a limited quantity of this unique (and perhaps even revolutionary!) Bobcat pure silver coin! The bobcat (Lynx rufus) is an elusive nocturnal hunter that can leap up to ten feet. It preys primarily on rabbits, hares, and mice, though it can successfully take down much larger prey, including deer. This adaptable and wide-ranging predator is one of North America’s most common wildcats and is found from southern Canada to northern Mexico - and nearly everywhere in the continental United States!

The design of this pure silver wildlife gem features an original full-body portrait of a bobcat by Canadian artist Ken Ryan. The relatively abundant yet rarely-seen feline is portrayed mid-leap as it pounces upon its unsuspecting prey. Viewed from its front, face and outstretched forepaws pointed directly at the viewer, the bobcat is presented in stunning detail. Its characteristic black-tufted ears point backward as its black-lined eyes, small black nose and sharp-toothed mouth snarl in focused intensity. Its large front paws and fur-lined forelegs are outstretched before it, while its long and powerful back legs drive the animal forward. The stubbed, black-ringed tail from which the bobcat draws its name is visible above the animal’s striped and spotted back. Each hair and whisker is carefully detailed and shaded using multiple finishes, highlighting the world-class artistry of Royal Canadian Mint engravers. So it's understandable why we're so pleased to be able to bring you this amazingly beautiful, amazingly affordable pure silver Bobcat coin, with a high face value!

No-Exposure Proposal
North American Bobcat on the prowl Precious silver, a limited mintage, and a $20 denomination - here's a no-risk proposition if there ever was one! With economists becoming more and more anxious about the rising debt levels of Western nations, the timing couldn't be better. (Think about the incredibly huge federal budget deficit, all the states' financial problems, and the recent defaults in Europe.) The worry of fiat (paper) money ending up worthless also contributes to the ongoing rise in popularity of precious metals. Well, here's some relief - a precious metals coin with a high face value, too!

Consider just this one simple fact - we're selling this unique $20 Silver Commemorative coin at a price that's about its on-the-table, in-your-hand value - the $20 denomination plus the $5.00 spot value of the silver (at current (as of this writing) $20+ per ounce silver) is essentially its price - and the quantity discounts make this an even better buy!

It Simply Adds Up
Do the math:   High Face Value + Significant Precious Metal Content + Wildlife Theme + Mintage Limit = No-Risk Winner
