Product Description

Size, purity, rarity (mintage only 500), for the creative, sincere and artistic Year of the Sheep, Ram or Goat in 2015 - the perfect storm of numismatic investment!

Investment Opportunity! No small change here! This enormous, majestic coin represents a tremendous investment opportunity, struck in pure silver! The Perth Mint's most prestigious coins in its Lunar Zodiac Series II are breathtakingly huge! At more than 100 mm in diameter, they are a full 4 inches across! Even more important is the mintage - only 500 of these silver kilograms will be struck for the entire world! This rarity is made all the more desirable by the Mint's execution of this intriguing animal motif in pure silver, artistically rendered in full proof finish! The fields are deeply mirrored, with the design accented in frosty white cameo relief, further enhancing an already handsome design (which is even nicer looking than the mint-supplied images suggest). The proof silver kilos sell out quickly every year - we urge immediate action!

The Year of the Sheep, Ram or Goat - Creative and Sincere!
Centuries ago, the Chinese invented a calendar based on the lunar (rather than the solar) cycle. There are twelve animals in the Chinese lunar zodiac, each corresponding in sequence to a year rather than a month.

Those born in the years 1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, and 2015 celebrate the Year of the Sheep, Ram or Goat. According to tradition, people born during a Year of the Ram or Sheep are said to exhibit that animal¬ís attributes. They are sincere, sympathetic, determined but peaceful, mild-mannered but sometimes pessimistic. They seek security and stability, but can be very generous. They tend to be artistic and creative.

Sheep are easy to spend time around and are have many close friends. However, in love or friendship, they are at first wary of others' motives and usually timid about revealing their true nature. Gaining a Sheep's trust takes time, but once they have been won over, they may become the most ardent of companions. As much as the Sheep can improve another person's life, however, they are also protective about who they let into their inner circle. Not just anyone can get to know someone born under the sign of the Sheep. Rather, a person must prove himself or herself steadily over time, through kind gestures and loving support, until the Sheep finally sees that they are someone who can be trusted.

Chinese Lunar Zodiac 2015 Year of the Ram Sheep GoatTypically surrounded by beautiful things, Sheep have a love of comfort and are almost always elegantly dressed, but can become overly reliant on appearances. In fact, it might be fair to say that many Sheep personalities learn to embrace their inner fabulousness! Conversely, Sheep people also have an innate affinity for nature and natural settings, so they can also be deeply content when getting their hands dirty messing about in the garden!

In the workplace, once they find a position that makes use of their considerable talents, Sheep are passionate about what they do and tend to be successful. Because of their creativity, a Sheep personality may be disorganized, but can usually enjoy great success as artists, actors, gardeners, interior designers, childcare workers, pediatricians, teachers or educators.

This is the eighth annual release in the Lunar Zodiac Series II from Australia!

Investment Note
It's obvious that this coin is gargantuan - it weighs one full kilogram of pure silver, and measures a full four inches in diameter and over a half-inch thick. But it's not just massive, this kilo silver proof is doubly rare! That's right, the total mintage is only five hundred, meaning only 500 people can ever enjoy the pride of ownership of this colossal beauty! Size, purity and rarity - the perfect storm of desirability make this a great buy and hold. Finally, consider how many poor collectors who, nine or ten years into the series, are going to want this then-long-gone rarity for their collection! Don't delay, opportunity is knocking - answer the door and snap this one up while you can!
