The Year of the Sheep, Ram or Goat - Creative and Sincere!
Chinese Lunar Zodiac 2015 Year of the Ram Sheep GoatCenturies ago, the Chinese invented a calendar based on the lunar (rather than the solar) cycle. There are twelve animals in the Chinese lunar zodiac, each corresponding in sequence to a year rather than a month.

Those born in the years 1907, 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, and 2015 celebrate the Year of the Sheep, Ram or Goat. According to tradition, people born during a Year of the Ram or Sheep are said to exhibit that animal’s attributes. They are sincere, sympathetic, determined but peaceful, mild-mannered but sometimes pessimistic. They seek security and stability, but can be very generous. They tend to be artistic and creative.

Sheep are easy to spend time around and are have many close friends. However, in love or friendship, they are at first wary of others' motives and usually timid about revealing their true nature. Gaining a Sheep's trust takes time, but once they have been won over, they may become the most ardent of companions. As much as the Sheep can improve another person's life, however, they are also protective about who they let into their inner circle. Not just anyone can get to know someone born under the sign of the Sheep. Rather, a person must prove himself or herself steadily over time, through kind gestures and loving support, until the Sheep finally sees that they are someone who can be trusted.

Chinese Lunar Zodiac 2015 Year of the Ram Sheep GoatTypically surrounded by beautiful things, Sheep have a love of comfort and are almost always elegantly dressed, but can become overly reliant on appearances. In fact, it might be fair to say that many Sheep personalities learn to embrace their inner fabulousness! Conversely, Sheep people also have an innate affinity for nature and natural settings, so they can also be deeply content when getting their hands dirty messing about in the garden!

In the workplace, once they find a position that makes use of their considerable talents, Sheep are passionate about what they do and tend to be successful. Because of their creativity, a Sheep personality may be disorganized, but can usually enjoy great success as artists, actors, gardeners, interior designers, childcare workers, pediatricians, teachers or educators.

Niue is a small island nation in the South Pacific. Although it is completely self-governing and independent, it remains in free association with New Zealand, a member of the British Commonwealth of Nations, hence the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its coinage. The country is located about 1,450 miles northeast of New Zealand. It is closest to Samoa, Tonga, and the Cook Islands. It is one of the largest coral islands in the world, with a total area of 260 square kilometers. Niueans are predominantly Polynesian; most are bilingual, speaking both Niuean and English.
